Who We Are


Serving Tennis currently manage the Totton & Eling and Fleming Park Tennis Centres and has a strong record of working with local authorities and private leisure facility operators. Partners include Totton & Eling Town Council, Eastleigh Borough Council and DC Leisure.

Serving Tennis is currently looking at further similar opportunities, including a project in Southampton.

Richard Carter, a Loughborough graduate in Sports Science and Recreational Management, is an LTA Licensed Professional Tennis Coach who represented Hampshire for many years as a player. He has worked full-time for twenty years with players of all ages and standards from beginner through to international juniors. Richard is a very highly regarded coach both within the county and on a national basis.

Richard is Director of Tennis at the Totton & Eling Tennis Centre.

Christine Wheeler-Osman, an LTA Licensed Development Coach is the Development Director of Serving Tennis. She has managed large development programmes since 1990 and prior to running the Totton & Eling Tennis Centre, she ran the development programme at the Matchpoint Tennis Centre. Her ability to recognise talent at a very early stage and her experience of running large-scale schools outreach programmes have led to her receiving Tennis Development Officer funding from the County LTA.

Richard Cutler is a post-graduate in Business Management and holds a First-Class Honours degree in German. Before joining the project to launch the new tennis centre, Richard previously worked for 4 years within the logistics and automotive industry, building up a sound commercial knowledge. A lifelong tennis player, Richard is also an LTA Licensed Development Coach.

Richard is the Managing Director of the Totton & Eling Tennis Centre.
